SAB adding the same arcticle multiple times

Hi, I'm using SAB 0.3.4 OSX build and SAB has this strange behaviour of
adding one and the same nzb up to four times in the download queue.
Sometimes once, sometimes twice.... you can never really predict what
it's going to do.
Is this a known problem ? Does it have anything to do with the OSX port ?

It would be great if SAB could see if an article/nzb is already in the queue and
sort the new one out automatically...

Are you using firefox extension SABnzbdStatus. If so, is in the properties the checkbox "Send NZB files to this daemon" checked?

How do you add a nzb files? NZB blackhole, through the webinterface or SABnzbdStatus firefox extension?

And the final question:
Is this your first installation? or did it just happened one day after working for a while?

Hi,
I've tried it several times now and I'm still not quite sure what's causing this.
Yes, I'm using SABnzbdStatus, but I'm also using SABGUI for OSX. It lets you
open an NZB file and sends it to SAB.
Since I didn't have that much time to test every scenario, I can only guess
that SABGUI is the problem. Gonna write the author....

But still I think that SAB should notice an item has been added several times.
Maybe shypike could code a line or two when has nothing better to do ... ;-)

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a SAB bug, but just for future addons etc
maybe it would just be a problem that SAB could just prevent from ever happening.

lol, that's what you call living the future :-)
I realized that there might be some people who are glad (even though in a weird way ;-) )
that you can add the same thing multiple times so your point is valid.
But what I meant was not a filter or anything for nzbs that have already been queued,
but more a simple function that SAB recognizes if the same nzb has been added 4 times
in one second ;-)

I'm actually not quite sure myself if what I want is an improvement for a problem that only
I seem to have, or just stupid :-)

FYI - sabgui is a pretty cool way to add nzbs to your queue because no matter what nzb-site
you're on - you just click the nzb you want and hit "ok" when firefox asks you if you want to open
it with with the default app. It's my favourite way because it does not  depend on anything but
the ability to click and open an nzb.

I think it is better to repair the problem on the user side instead of sab constantly trying to fix it.
