Problems with errors in nzbs

Hi guys,

Once my files passed verification they always unpack fine, I do have another strange problem though:

I recently turned my "old" pc running win7 into a htpc running ubuntu minimal 10.10 32bits. I have the suspicion that sabnzbd 0.5.6 from jcfp does not try to repair at all (with or without quickcheck enabled). I get: No post-processing because of failed verification, even when there is only a small error in a few files. The same nzb downloads, repairs and unpacks just fine when I download it in win7 with the altbinz client.
When I enter the _FAILED_directory on my linux pc there is only a par2 file. So I have to dl the nzb's par files on my windows machine, copy them over and then unrar / repair the download manually, which is kinda annoying.
I tried with the "normal" par2 app from the ubuntu repositories as well as with this one: http://chuchusoft.com/par2_tbb/download.html

Can anyone please give me a hint what I might be doing wrong? Thank you in advance
(I used this guide to setup sab on my machine: http://www.ainer.org/?p=698)

What happens if you remove sabnzbd.ini, start the wizard anew and download a NZB again?

Is a working par2 program installed?
Do you have any additional par2, nice and ionice parameters set in Config->Switches?
Do your NZB files contain samples and did you set "delete samples" in Config->Switches?
Did you try SABnzbd on Windows and does it have the same problem?
