Hello All,

Sorry for jumping into an old thread, but I still cannot get RSS to work at all.

I've kind of just become complacent downloading everything manually.... but RSS-enabled downloading would be nice.

When I preview the RSS feed I see matching results, and I've pressed 'download' on the matches.

But, it never seems to download automatically.

Any ideas?

I kind of assume I'm missing something obvious.... ;-)

Do not re-use old topics, it will only confuse people.

Does clicking the individual download buttons or the "force download" button lead to actual downloads?
Did you enable the RSS definitions for automatic read out?
Did you set the RSS interval?

Sorry for re-using the old topic. From now on I'll post new topics.

When I click "download" on the RSS preview, it does successfully download the file.

-- sorry, I'm not sure what you are talking about?

"Did you set the RSS interval?"
-- the RSS checking interval is set at "15".

Each feed needs to be enabled before it's automatically read out.
In most skins this is a tick box in the upper left corner of the feed box.

Wow...turns out that little box wasn't checked.

I swear, I've never even noticed it.... D'oh!

I checked the box and now I'll keep my eye on it to see if things download properly.
