Strange issue with 0.6.0

This is really strange. I am a fairly tech savvy user and I cannot explain this one. I'm also reluctant to post this in bug reports because it is hard to verify.

Anyway, for whatever reason when SAB is downloading I occasionally lose internet communication and I have to reset my modem (not router) to get my connection back. This only happens when SAB is downloading something and I've only had the problem since upgrading to 0.6. I know it sounds crazy but maybe someone else has noticed this and attributed it to their ISP or something I don't know.

If it bugs me enough I'll try switching everything back to 0.5 and see what happens but for now I'm hoping a dev may have some idea for a test that will nail down the issue but without access to modem logs I don't see how.

My setup is PC->Switch (3 PCs)->Router (DDWRT)->Modem. No wireless, and LAN communication remains functional when WAN is down.

Thanks,

Mills

The way SABnzbd communicates with Usenet providers
hasn't really changed since 0.5.6 (except for a timeout issue on Linux/OSX).
Let's just say that your problem isn't widely reported back.
I advise you to go back to 0.5.6 for a while and see if that matters.
Please keep us informed.

+1 for this.
Having the same issues since 0.6.0

Suddently I get am disconnected from network and my Macbook almost crashes down (even when only SAB, CP, Email and Skype is running).

It seems to be a bug...

MacOSX, DLINK 655, wired connection

Thanks Shy, I transferred about 10gb last night without disconnecting so perhaps it was just a coincidence with my ISP being at fault.

@Rasash: I think your issue is different than mine, for me LAN communication is fine and no local slowdown like you seem to be implying.

Cheers

I have exactly the same (miniMAC, same router, wired) and have never seen this.
That proves nothing of course, but is an indication of how hard it is
to diagnose such problems.
