Does anyone have/use a script that fully processes all the way to ISO?

I was wondering if anyone had a script that joined, encoded, and made a DVD ISO of video files.

if you're meaning encoding an incoming file to dvd, creating layout and generating ISO, i looked into it, but you need some serious CPU power to do this effectively.

I tried this on my xeon based linux test server, and it took 3 hours to process just into mpg format.

That is way too long for post processing to be active - i guess the encode can be tossed to the background, but system performance goes to crap while it is running.

Thanks for the info.  I just had a crazy idea, are you by any chance aware of any cluster based software for transcoding video - I know of dvd::rip...

My work is about to retire 20 machines that I will be getting... If I could set up a wake on lan cluster up, it may be very cool for getting this long task handled more quickly...
