Blocked connections

Hello my friends!

I have a question about the server connections.

My usenet provider allows me to use 8 simultaneous connections.

Now this is the problem:
I have an iMac and an Macbook. Both have sabnzbd installed with my usenet account.

On my iMac I've configured the use of 8 connections because I want to have maximum speed.
On my Macbook I only have 4 connections because my wireless isn't that fast.

Often both machines are downloading. But since a while now (I guess its a new feature in SAB) when SAB gets an error it just blocks the connection.

For example:
1. My Macbook is downloading with 4 connections.
2. On my iMac I fire up an NZB.
3. My iMac tries to download but only get's 4 connections (and an authentication failed error for the connections that are already in use by my Macbook) and it blocks the server.

Previous versions of SAB just ignored the rejected connections and continued to download with the 4 remaining connections that are left.

Is there a way to disable this server blocking behavior?

Thanks!!

Questions:
what's the speed you get with 8 connections on your iMac?
what's the speed you get with 4 connections on your iMac?
what's the speed of your Internet-connection?

Reason: as far as I know 4 connections will give you the same speed as 8 connections, and thus both to 4 connection would solve it without penalty.

8 on your iMac plus 4 on your MacBookl = 12 connections.
That's not allowed by your provider.
So let each use 4 connections.
Automatically scaling down may or may not work, depending on
if we can interpret the exact error messages from the provider (no standardisation here).
Blocking only occurs when you set the server as "optional".

Thanks guys for your reply's.

I know that 8+4= 12 connections :) But previously it didn't block my server, and my server isn't configured as optional.

My usenet provider offers speeds up to 100Mbps.

A1: 100Mbps ±13,5MBps
A2: 50Mbps ± 6,5MBps
A3: 120Mbps ±15MBps (I regularly download with speeds 14MBps+ from sites etc.)
