I know this isn't actually an "SABnzbd" problem, but it worked when on NINAN via jetty(too buggy).
Version: (Ex: 0.3.0 Final)
OS: Clarkconnect 4.2 Gateway
Install-type: (python source)
Template (default)
Firewall Software: (Ex: iptables)
Are you using IPV6? (dunno)
Is the issue reproducible? (yes)
I can access SABnzbd fine when I am at home, but from work I cannot. Looking at the logs, its like my request never gets to CherryPy.
Port is open. I also tried creating a port forward in my router gui to 192.168.0.1 (my internal ip of the router).
Even vpning into home and obtaining an internal IP doesn't work. <--- I can't see why this doesn't work.
Is there something special I need to do? I do have apache running for my regular webpage. Is this conflicting?
Thank you in advance.
BTW when I am at home, this tool is AWESOME! way more stable and configurable than NINAN was for me.

Re: Cant access SABnzbd+ anywhere but home.
What is your host value set to? (Config>General)
For it to be accessed from the outside world it cannot be localhost, it needs to be one of three:
host="0.0.0.0" - Probably the easiest, listens on multiple interfaces including local/external ip and localhost
host="" - will find your local ip address and listen on that
host="192.168.0.x" - your local IP address

Re: Cant access SABnzbd+ anywhere but home.
I have tried:
Localhost
blank
192.168.0.1
and my FQDN..
I did not try 0.0.0.0, I will try this and post my results.
Thank you for your quick response.

Re: Cant access SABnzbd+ anywhere but home.
The IP needs to be your LAN IP of the PC (not the router).
Will be 192.168.0.x (where x is definitely not 1).
That should also have been where you forwarded the port to.

daniel_owen_uk,
My Linux PC is my router, so the 192.168.0.1 is the correct ip, but it was only allowing the internal traffic as that ip is only assigned to the internal LAN NIC not my WAN NIC.
Changing the host to 0.0.0.0 fixed my problem.
Thank you switch!
