Bandwidth Cap

Is it possible to add a "turn off program when..." switch tied to daily/weekly/monthly bandwidth? I like to just download a bit at a time and don't want to come home and find that I have somehow run my month limit in a day.
If there is a way that this is already done, please let me know or point me to where I can figure it out.
Thank you for a great program.

You could pause downloading daily at xx hour and resume at xx. Check for more info:

Thanks Bartek,
That is what I do now so it only runs when I am home to watch, I just would be happier with a shutoff/backstop, so I never go over...
The reason I would think this would be a great idea is because I then don't have to spend $20 on network software, an that is money I would rather spend here...

I came here to potentially request a similar feature. Glad to see that 0.7.0 will include this. Will it have an option to have an email sent when you are within a configurable percentage of your cap? Will it only include monthly or can total transfer optionally be used as well? I use Astraweb and pay per 180GB. It would be nice just to know if my total transfer is approaching 180GB.
For example:
cap_period=total
cap=180GB
threshold=5
if total transfer is 95% of cap send a notification email to the configured email notification address.
Otherwise, having api access to the server information including transfer stats would help with scripting my own notification.

Emails are not planned. But SABnzbd does pause automatically.
Let's first see how this works out before getting too fancy.

How is bandwidth allocated through a wireless router? I have a linksys wireless router, 1 family PC, my laptop, my dad's laptop, my brother's laptop and a PS3. Is bandwidth divided equally all the time or divided by the number of connections on at the same time. If so, how can I channel all the bandwidth to one computer if I want to?

SABnzbd will only measure it's own usage on the PC it runs on.
To implement an overall cap/measurement for your LAN, you'd need a very fancy router.
