SABNZBD versions greater 0.6.10 don't work

Yesterday I started SABNZBD 0.6.10 and was informed about a new version (0.6.12). Of course I immediately downloaded and installed the new version. But it refused to work. While still displaying in my browser no download happened, trying to reload the page lead to an error "Could not connect to...". I looked for version 0.6.11, found it, installed it: same issue. Eventually I returned to version 0.6.10 and everything is how it should be.
Ok, I'm pretty satisfied with version 0.6.10, so why bother and update do a newer version. But I never had this problem before and I started out with version 0.5.2.
Thought I should inform forum users, maybe someone has this problem, too.

OS X 10.7.2, sab 0.6.10 installed and working fine. Downloaded and installed SABnzbd-0.6.12-osx.dmg from sourceforge (replaced current version).

Upon launching the new version, sab reports via growl that it is shutting down. The icon is in the menu bar, but clicking on anything other than shutdown, does nothing. The web interface is not accessible, says not available.

I have same problem as well....Installed 6.12 on my mac and growl says it is shutting down as soon as it starts.....Back to 6.10 for me as well....Thank god for time machine :)

Won't post logs (ain't got any since returned to version 0.6.10) but need to mention that my os is windows home premium 64 bit on a dual core amd machine.
While I'm here let me say thanks for this great little demon SABNZBD !

Well, whatever the true cause is, we're preparing 0.6.13 now.
The ipv6/ipv4 conflict resolving feature will be removed.
There are too many systems that show bizarre behaviour with that feature.
In short: some less-popular Unix distros and individual mainstream systems (like some Macs, but not most).

BIG Problem,
today I upgraded to the new 0.6.14 and now SABNZBD+ doesn't even launch :-[
I was running until now the previous version and it was all OK. First I then did a clean install and removed all files. I am on Mac OS X 10.5.8
But now with the new install, the app doesn not install even the folder on the ~/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd so I can take a look at th new log.
I tried to look for the log and luckily I saved the previous folder with the logs and this is what I have:

We have a seperate Leopard (and older) DMG file.
Check out http://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbd ... bd-0.6.14/

OS=OSX Lion
Sabnzbd 6.14 = unable to add nzb's to que with downloads via chrome (always open this file type). However will accept NZB's from Sickbeard. Switching back to 6.10 solves problem.

What do you mean by "always open this file type"?
