After sabnzbd upgrade, sickbeard message "Unknown failure sending NZB to sab." but it it isn't failing

Having a strange problem ever since updating to 3.0.1 on 26 August 2020. I updated to 3.0.2 on 31 August but this is still happening.

OS: macOS Catalina, 10.15.6

Sickbeard fetches a show that hasn't aired yet, and reports that it can't send the NZB to sab:

2020-09-05 11:18:05 ERROR SEARCHQUEUE-RSS-SEARCH :: Unknown failure sending NZB to sab. Return text is: {'status': True, 'nzo_ids': ['SABnzbd_nzo_fompw0ed']}

However, it does download the show successfully. Because Sickbeard thinks it failed, it retries and downloads every 2 hours, maxing me out on my daily free searches for nzbs. I basically have to shut down sabnzbd until after the show airs and I can mark it as Skipped.

I also posted on the Sickbeard forum, but another user mentioning they upgraded sabnzbd on Windows made me wonder if it was actually a problem on the sab side. (The original solution that the OP posted did not work for me; it just broke everything.) As a new user I can't include a link to that forum post, and I can't include the logs, because it's yelling at me about links, even after I remove anything that remotely looks like a link. Not a huge problem, but pretty annoying. Thanks in advance.

We have have dropped old code from the API so now it is consistent. But sickbeard doesn't understand it.
Sickbeard hasn't been updated in many, many, many years.. You should consider switching to any of the forks, so you'll be working with something that is still being actively maintained

Oh, man, thanks so much. Sickbeard's worked so consistently for so long that I didn't even consider that it wasn't being worked on anymore. I dread trying to pull it out and replace it, ha ha. Do you have any recommendations, by chance?
