My downloads from sonarr and radarr have a category assigned to it but a manual download has no category. To avoid unneccesary notifications I want the downloads without a category to have a category assigned automatically. Is that possible?
I can add this category as the only category to send out pushover notifications.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

I know nothing about categories, so there must be clever solutions that I don't know about, but as last resort:

Any job not assigned to a specific category ends up in the built-in Default category, that can be configured and used just like any other category. Nothing stopping you from setting it up as the one and only "affected category" for notifications.

When no category is assigned, we do scan the NZB for other clues.
So it might still end up in tv or movies categories.
