Running Sabnzbd as a service

  • Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.
  • Tell us what system you run SABnzbd on.

  • Do you experience problems during downloading?
    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
    Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
    We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
  • Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
    Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Running Sabnzbd as a service

Hi,

Is this the only way you can get Sabnzbd to run as a service:

http://sabnzbdplus.wiki.sourceforge.net/Windows+service

I want Sabnzbd to run so I don't need to log into Windows.

This does not seem to work for me and cleared all my settings.  I think I will just use it as normal.

Make sure you follow this step:
"For this to work best, it is recommended for the sabnzbd.ini to be kept inside the SABnzbd folder."
Copy your existing sabnzbd.ini into the SABnzbd folder.
Thanks for that, missed that step out everything seems to be working now.
