Using SABnzbd 4.5.1 on a Windows 11 (64-bit operating system) - Lenovo laptop.
I’m not very technical (also now 80) and have been using the system for several years without any problems.
2 days ago I was using SABnzbd and had completed several small downloads, when it suddenly stopped and issued the following message “Failed login for server eu astraweb [502 Authentication Failed]”. I updated my level to the latest version SABnzbd version from 4.3 – still no joy.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

If in SABnzbd you've filled out the credentials for eu.astraweb.com, and you think they are correct, and you still get the error: contact Astraweb.

Where do you the '502'?
Because, when I try to connect to Astraweb with fake credentials, I get "Authentication failed, check username/password." ... without the 502.

I select file to download in NZB Finder. In SABnzbd the file starts to download, but after about 30 secs aborts with a warning symbol at the top of the screen and a warning message “Failed login for server eu astraweb [502 Authentication Failed]” displayed under the download list.

So ... is there any downloading from Astraweb going before the 502 error message?
And: if you use the 100MB SABnzbd test download (via the wrench in right upper corner): does it work?

It appears to start to download before the message shows maybe 2% of a 155MB file. After 10 minutes it tries to re-connect and then same warning.
I tried the test message and found that it does the same - downloads 4% and aborts

What if you lower number of connections to 1?

I have noticed that if I I go to the connections and hit the "Unblock" button it then squirts down maybe 1-2 Mb of data and then aborts

I contacted Astraweb and their reply is as follows:-
Your prepaid block account has run out of gigs and cannot be used further until more gigs are added.
Please log into our website and click on "Add Credits" to add more gigs.
