API key empty

Post by sanka »

Hello

i used to run sabnzbd on my windows machine, but lately i moved it to my Linux server (slackware). After installing, i could not make any changes to the configuration through the webUI, i got the message session key required.

After searching a bit, i noticed that no matter what i do, there is no API key filled in in the webUI, tho there is one in my ini-file.

i can 'solve'  the problem by disabling the api_key in the ini-file, tho this is ofcourse not the solution :)

Anyone has had this problem aswell and maybe knows what is causing it?

Thank,

Marijn

Try using an older version of the python module Cheetah. There is a known problem with us using a variable named 'session' in the most recent version of Cheetah.
