[trunk] remove backup nzb if download gets deleted

Post by Goir »

Hi,

i enabled the feature to prevent double downloads, but if  i download a nzb and remove it before its finished the nzbs gz file stays in the nzb backup folder.
And Maybe could delete it aswell (or make it an option in the settings) if the download fails (dunno if it already does that)

This happened to me today i startet downloading smth and realized it was wrong version, deleted it and added another version with the same name.
The nzbs were added from newzbin.

We used to backup newzbin jobs with the report number embedded.
Somewhere along the way this got lost.
Your kind of problem would be solved by having the number back again.

Somehow I don't think removing the backed-up file when deleting the job is a good idea.

I think the nzb should be moved. In fact I think there should be a whole bunch of nzb movement.  For instance;  When an nzb is added to the sab queue, it should be in the queue directory. If the download is aborted, it should be moved to the aborted directory.  If it fails, it should be moved to the failed directory.  If it successfully completes, it should be moved to the complete directory.

Each of these should be optional and configurable.  Each of them should have the option to be checked for duplicate downloads.

The whole issue is moot due to the queue redesign we're doing.
