Bind Unique Server to Unique Network Adaptor

Post by IceManNCSU »

I would like to see the ability of using multiple network adapters.  Then being able to assign which server uses which adapter.

This would be extremely useful for people that have multiple unlimited usenet server accounts and multiple physical internet connections.  But they are restricted from connecting from one unique IP at a time.

Thanks for the consideration!

Alas, the runtime library of the Python language doesn't support this.
It would mean we'd have to rewrite a large part of its TCP/IP library.
That's too much effort for a use case for a very small audience.
You'll need to setup some static routing rules.
I remember this being discussed on the forum before:

Found a neat tool to do exactly the routing to different adapters that I needed...

PortTunnel

Hope this helps anyone want to get the 50Mbps from TWC and 24 Mbps from ATT UVerse at the same time!!!! :-)
