I can connect qouch to the mac mini easily enough and can see existing items in the queue.
In qouch, I figure I should add an NZB by URL. Normally I'd do this via a newzbin URL to the report page (e.g.
http://www.newzbin.com/browse/post/6478287/)
However as newzbin is password protected, when qouch tries to fetch the data it fails.
What am I doing wrong? I don't seem to be able to find where to enter the feeds for my newzbin account.
Probably obvious and I'm just bing an idiot, but any help would be fab

Not a noob question at all, and to answer it; password protected NZB sites will only work when implemented directly into Qouch itself. It's a feature that is high on my list, I hope to have some search engines integrated into the next version.
One thing you might try though is
DJBenson's suggestion. That might also work for NZB URL's, but I understand it's not really user friendly.

Is it likely to ever make it in?

True, they're not in the current version, that's because it was already almost done when you did your suggestions. But they will definitely be added to the list! I just can't tell you yet when I will implement them yet as the list of requested issues is quite long already.
Thanks for all the people helping others out with their problems! It's much appreciated!
For all the people that haven't noticed it yet, v1.2.0 appeared in the app store yesterday and contains a lot of bug fixes and better Sick Beard integration. I hope you all like it!
