Have switched to using NZBMATRIX but I cannot get the bookmarks feed to filter properly against categories using the "RequiresCat" option. The data seems to be there but nothing I place in the filter will match:

Name: Battlestar Galactica Blood And Chrome S01E08 1080p WEB DL AAC XAN
Category: TV: HD (x264)
Hits: 450
Size: 233.84 MB
Language: English
Web Link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1704292
Parts: 639
Group: alt.binaries.boneless
Comments: 5
Added to Index: 30/Nov/2012 6:04:56 PM
Added to Usenet: 30/Nov/2012 2:48:09 PM

Any ideas?
** Update **
Maybe it's just me, but the RSS section for NZBMATRIX isn't making much sense to me and the Wiki really doesn't represent what I'm seeing in the application to be of much help

TV*HD
assuming that you want nzbmatrix's category "TV: HD".
What do you currently have?
I tried that, but it's not matched:
I also tried TV*HD* and still no joy - the RSS feed when shown in my browser shows as:
Name: New Girl S02E09 720p WEB DL DD5 1 H 264 HWD
Category: TV: HD (x264)
Hits: 175
Size: 939.23 MB

If the RSS feed is the Matrix Bookmark feed then you don't need to make all those accept filters. Just accept all using just a * in the filter.
The feed will only give you what you've bookmarked and nothing else so you don't need the filters

But when I do that all my bookmarks get set as "Unknown" in the SABnzbd queue rather than "TV" "Movies" etc etc

Thanks, I thought I spotted it as I hadn't noticed you had TV* in the "Groups/Indexer" column, but even after correcting that and doing another test, it still went to "Unknown":
I do notice that for each time it reads the RSS feed I see this in the error log:
2012-12-02 21:15:49,632 ERROR: No email templates found
It's the only time it happens and not sure why as I get all the other email alerts without this error - the templates folder does have my one and only template: email-en.tmpl
I'm making a guess here but I think the categories are parsed from top to bottom until it finds the first candidate.
This could mean that your first category 4simon, which doesn't have a Group/Indexer Tag may be chosen first and therefore unknown/default.
You could try deleting this temporarily.

Nice thought, so I gave that one a category, "4Simon", but it still set up a download as "unknown"
Are you still using RequireCat in RSS?
You cannot use that to assign categories, because each item that
doesn't have the required category is immediately rejected.
RequireCat works on the actual nzbmatrix categories, not your own.
Matching nzbmatrix categories to your own should work.
It picks the first actual match, so as long as you don't have overlaps, that will work.
The last category table you listed should work.
Concerning the email error: are you using your own template folder?
