Suddenly Error 401 Unauthorized

We have been running SABnzb for about 10 days without any issues.

It was setup with username and password which we have used to login to the UI for about 10 days

Today we tried to login and get - Error 401 Unauthorized: You need to provide a valid username and password.

Why or How could it change?

No one else has access to the server/machine ?

does anyone know where we can change our Username/Password ?

or begin to troubleshoot how/why this happened?

Usenet server issues are not uncommon.
Is your subscription still valid?
Lookup your password on the Usenet provider's website and re-enter in SABnzbd's Config->Servers.

Hi,

This is not the Usenet provider - this is to login to the SABnzb server.

When we set it up we gave it a login and password. Now for no reason we cannot login and we get a 401 error?

Now whats even worse is when we try to connect

https://localhost:9090/sabnzbd/

Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.

Not sure what happened here, but the easiest fix is to use
SABnzbd's tray icon (right mouse click) and select Troubleshoot->Restart_No login.
This will remove username/password.

Thanks - Did not know we could do that.. But will remove the server anyways as we are performing tests to see in what config we can reach the PEAK DL speeds from Giganews
