Download Priority from and OS level

Post by bingowashisname »

Hi all;

I'm running Ubuntu and Sabnzbd which i'm using as a media server (work in progress). Question, is there a way that i can run Sabnzbd at full pelt, but have Ubuntu or Sab prioritise other/all programs so that my other usages are not interfered with? I don't want to limit Sab's speed every time i try to stream something for example (if i can avoid it)

I'm new to this so please take it easy and hope to be helpful in the future.

Thanks

Andrew
