I see.
I would advice you to start at the basics, for example start reading http://www.binaries4all.com/sabnzbd/

Re: Slow connection to no connection
Hi,
So, I'm having a similar problem, I have a 6 Mbps link to my ISP, I have antivirus and firewalls turned off on the computer that runs SAB and I am using both usenet.net and giganews.com as my providers. I use random generic indexers (nzbmatrix, etc.) with two not so generic indexers, Couch Potato for movies and Sick Beard for TV shows, I would be using Headphones for music, but I don't really download music anyway. SAB's connection speed rarely reads more than 800 kbps, occasionally peaking at 1.8~ Mbps and very rarely peaking at 3.0 Mbps, but it only stays over 800 kbps for a couple of seconds at a time and only peaks up to those speeds when I have had SAB limited for a period of time and then reset it to no limit. How can I get it to utilize my full downspeed at all times when I'm not limiting it manually?
Thanks in advanced,
Erebus

No, it's not. Start your own threadErebus671 wrote:Hi,

Like Sander said, it's a different problem.Erebus671 wrote: So, I'm having a similar problem, I have a 6 Mbps link to my ISP, I have antivirus and firewalls turned off on the computer that runs SAB and I am using both usenet.net and giganews.com as my providers. Aren't you mixing bits/sec and bytes/sec? SABnzbd reports its speed in bytes/second (which is about 9 times lower that bits/sec).
On what kind of hardware are you running SABnzbd?
Re: Slow connection to no connection
Yeah, sorry about that I am mixing them, I didn't realize that SABnzbd reports bytes instead of bits... After doing the math I am getting approximately 5 to 6 Mbps in speed, so I'm getting my full bandwidth, which means my question was null, sorry about that. Thanks for pointing that out.
