Basic info:
Running Archlinux on an ARM-based device (pogoplug) that's set up as a NAS server
Running SABnzbd 0.7.14
In my pogoplug, I have two drives, an 8GB USB key with alarm and all other modules installed on it and a second, 1TB drive for files. They're playing nicely together, except for the fact that I can't convince SABnzbd to use the Watched, Temp, Completed, etc folders that I've created on the 1TB drive. I've tried everything that I know to try in the GUI. I've gone to the Config-Folders page and tried to navigate to them (which I can do, so this program can see them), to type them in manually, and to begin typing them in only to allow SAB to populate the rest. Nothing works. Either the folder doesn't change when I save changes and reboot, or--if it does change--all it's done is create that folder hierarchy in the opt/Sabnzbd folder on the thumb drive (so instead of it saving to bigdrive/folder/folder/Watched, it saves to thumbdrive/.../opt/sabnzbd/bigdrive/folder/folder/Watched).
I know that moving an .ini file will change the default base folder, but I don't know how else that will change my install, and I've searched through the forum and seen one instance where someone was advised to use -f, but I'm not comfortable using the command line without explicit instructions. I do have Webmin installed, if that's at all helpful.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Re: ignored Watched/Temp/etc folders on a separate drive
Have you checked the access rights of the folders you want to use?
Also, is the drive properly mounted at the moment SABnzbd starts up?

Re: ignored Watched/Temp/etc folders on a separate drive
The folders are in the 'Share' folder on the drive (I'm running SAMBA), so shouldn't they be fully rw accessible? Or do I need to do something specifically with SAB?
As far as the drive being mounted, I don't know if that's the case when alarm starts up from a boot (and I wouldn't know how to check that), but this problem persists whenever I reboot SAB from within the GUI and when i stop it and restart it from the command line.

Re: ignored Watched/Temp/etc folders on a separate drive
I fixed the permissions on the folders, but it still recreates the hierarchy in the opt folder.
