SAB on Pi, SD card life issue?

Post by bigdavethehorn »

I've been running SAB on the Model B Pi for about a year and it's been absolutely flawless, however, I had a crash last week, which never happens, and again last night.

The Pi won't now reboot using the "SAB Card", however, the PI works fine with my "XBMC Card". I'm guessing I've hit the limit with the amount of writes on the SD card (the temp folder was, I think, on the SD card).

Anyone know how I can check my theory?

Thanks!

I don't know how to fix the damage.
However one tip for the future:
If you can spare the memory, set an ample article cache (say 100M).
This will reduce the amount of writes to the SD card.
