Post by jiska78 »

Does anyone know if there is a Debian build of Growl that I can install on my ReadyNAS?

Maybe I'm assuming too much, but Growl is only useful for desktop systems.
What do you expect it to do on a NAS?
SABnzbd communicates over regular TCP/IP with Growl clients.

Thanks for the reply :)

I want to receive notifications and Growl the only option SABnzbd gives me. Notifcation Center and NotifyOSD are both greyed out.

NC is Apple-only, NotifyOSD is for Ubuntu.
What you need is a Growl client for your PC or mobile device.
Then enter the IP address and other details in Config->Notifications.
