Constant 3-4KBps speed, seems to skip articles.

Seems like most files (but not all) end up saying that they download at 3-4KBps but then are actually just skipping the files.

Other clients download the files fine, using the same server. There is a mix of results depending on the NZB. Occasionally it works fine (same server), but usually it does not.

I've no idea where to go with this (mostly because any search leads to connection issues instead of whatever is going on here).

Which SABnzbd version?
Which hardware and OS?

I'm on the latest version, and this happens on two different machines.

First is windows 7, intel.

Second is a DS413 NAS device. Both have the same results.

Edit: the version on the NAS is 0.7.16-7

All those "[decoder:154] Server has article ..." lines are output from a pre-check, not an actual download.

The most likely cause is that the Usenet provider replaced the post with fake articles.
Astraweb is one that does this.
We no longer recommend using the "pre download check".
Please use the "Abort jobs that cannot be completed" option in Config->Options.

I am indeed using Astraweb so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

I'll update my settings so at least it won't blow through the files and act like it finished a broken file.

An interesting thing though: if I download the same nzb with a different program (in this case I used NZBGet) the file downloads fine. This is still using Astra web. I've actually changed all my processes to use NZBGet now and everything's working great. I still don't understand why it would work there and not SABNZBD.
