Hi all,
I have recently made the jump from Ubuntu to Arch Linux despite being quite n00bish to Linux in general.
In accordance with the beginners guide and based on other advice online I set up separate partitions for my root system and home directories, i.e.:
mount /sda/dev1 /mnt (32Gb)
mount /sda/dev2 /mnt/home (600Gb approx.)
The problem is with sabdnzbd when I go into configuration I cannot see my home directory when specifying folder locations for the incomplete/complete downloads. The browser simply does not see the contents of my home folder but only goes to /home/chris/. If I try to use this as a directory, sabdnzbd writes /home/chris to the default folder of /opt/sabnzbd/.
sabnzbd also reports free space of 26Gb (clearly a lot less than my dev2 partition).
I have also tried logging in as root to change the folder but find I have the same problem.
I would rather not reinstall Arch again with a monolithic partitioning scheme - is there a way to make sabnzbd 'see' my home folder? cheers
