I would set the number of connection of each server to 4. Measure your throughput. Then rise to 6, and measure again.

Some people set it to 30 connections, but that can decrease the throughput

I added a second server - supernews and I'm getting a couple more Mbps so I'll take it. I'd love to see it double but even a few helps.

Fairly new to usenet and downloading things fine with sabnzb.

Using usenet.farm as did their trial and just continued for a month so far.

However, finding some items have missing links when attempting to download. I have read using another provider may help solve this. Would adding a second provider as another server as described in this thread help with the missing articles? Would SABNZB switch between servers (providers)? If not is there another way of achieving this?

Yes. At least: if on a different backbone. Newshosting (see frontpage of sabnzbd.og for a deal) is on a different backbone, so worth trying.

Yes. Put them at the same prio.

Thanks for your reply.

That would have been my next question about different backbones.

Is there a list that shows different providers/backbones or is it a case of searching each provider?
