Hi all
I have been using sabnzbd for a while now and it has been proved most reliable. But recently it has been misbehaving badly. I have the following phenomenon: I start the download of an nzb , say of 30GB size. My download is throttled to 100 kB/s. 10 minutes into the download the app claims 1.5 GB downloaded and the whole thing concludes way too early, claiming to be done. Extraction of the rar of course fails.
the incomplete directory also shows actual files of that size. I have absolutely no idea what is goig on, but my line makes 300 kB/s on a good day and there is simply no way it moves 1.5 GB in 10 minutes.
Version is 0.6.15, it appears to be happening since 0.6.14
OS is Lucid64
kernel 2.6.32-38-server
I assume further information will be needed for troubleshooting. Please tell me what ye need.
Thanks in advance

Re: unrealistic download speeds and failed unrar
A slow download speed (and thus a high ETA) combined with a very good progress on the download can be caused by a (almost completely) missing post on a server. Which will also lead to a failed unpack etc.
So during the download, if you hover above the above, what does the popup say about "missing articles". And after the download, what does SAB's history say about as a result?
However, if you think it is caused by a SAB version, use an older version of SAB.
