Hello. I am brand new to usenet and I have came across a few more serious problems so far that I have managed to resolve by myself but now that I seem to have everything up and running I am wondering..
I like to download episodes of series/animes and with utorrent there was a nifty little option called prioritize by file order, this meant that it would download the first episode then the second then the third etc, meaning you could start watching the moment the first episode was finished downloading. is there any way of doing this with sabnzbd or usenet in general?
Forgive me if the answer is somewhere obvious but the whole thing to me at this moment is pretty mind boggling and I don't really know where to look.
Also this question is probably more on the stupid side but I have downloaded a single episode of one piece and in the completed folder is a multitude of files mostly par2.. Is this some kind of file encryption or compression? I assume there is some way of converting these that I have overlooked.

Re: Downloading episodes by order
The description is simply to unclear to draw any conclusions.
SABnzbd works with the assumption that you are using a good indexer,
that produces an NZB that describes a matching collection of RAR and PAR2 files.
Try to get NZB files for single episodes first.
I'm not going to give you a 101 on Usenet for beginners, please google a bit for that.
On the index site, check the file list of a search result, to get a feeling of what is normal.
Isn't there a usable media file in the result folder?
