Run Sabnzbd As Service in Windows 8

  • Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.

    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

Run Sabnzbd As Service in Windows 8

is there a way for me to run Sab in windows 8 as a service

I am using Windows 8 Pro x64 on my home server and i would like sabnzbd to start after reboot without having to login first

tried that before posting here did not want to work i am using the latest sab and Windows 8 Pro x64

What i ended up doing is setting it to run at startup using Task Scheduler i could set it to run whether a user has logged on or not and it works quite well

That's a good option too.
Only it isn't available for XP, that's why we added the "service" option.
The way you run it may be even better, because SABnzbd is not a true service anyway.
