Sabnzbd not working/ 500 internal server error

Sabnzbd had been working perfectly for a couple of years until monday when I got this:

500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

I re-installed the software. Any other ideas will be very welcomed.

does the template file actually exist at `/Applications/SABnzbd+ .app/Contents/Resources/interfaces/Plush/templates/main.tmp` ?

Yes, that file does exist inside the app.

when you reinstalled did you purge, remove && install, or --reinstall? I would try a purge if you haven't. you will lose your custom config, but since Plush is a theme, restoring your config to install defaults may help.

I thought I removed it first and the re-installed, but I'm not sure if I actually "purged" it. I found every instance of sabnzbd a trashed it. Anything else I should do to really purge it?
