Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
it appears to be based on some restriction with newzbin coz when i click on more than 5 nzb's to send to sab+ using sabstatus plugin for firefox i get this problem. and when the queue is unpaused it will refuse to process the queue further.
Nothing in appears in the log file that i can find
If i manually download the nzb and put in the blackhole dir that's fine it will download without a problem
Is there something can be built into sab where by it will not retrieve more than 5 nzb's a minute any more than that it will just queue for the next minute. or if not 5 then some limit you can specify your self in the options?
Version: 0.3.0 RC5
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 (RTM)
Install-type: Windows Installer
Template (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Bitdefender Internet Security 2008
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? it is for me
ok so i've been using this for a while now and everytime i add an nzb file using nzbstatus (for firefox) or by using the +NZB in plush it just sits there saying "fetching msgid".
The only way round this is for me to download the nzb and stick it in the blackhole dir.
However as i'm typing this if i restart sab+ it will add the nzb using the above methods.
Also it doesnt appear to be logging anything when i get this problem.
From what i can see when its grabbing an nzb it starts off with saying:
::INFO::[sabnzbd] Fetching msgid 1234567 from v3.newzbin.com
::INFO::[nzbgrab] Fetching NZB for Newzbin report #1234567
::INFO::[nzbgrab] Successfully fetched Article Name (msgid_1234567 filename.nzb)
If i move an article in the queue to the top of the list when something else is downloading. the download will stop and nothing else seems to happen until i move the article again or remove it from the queue.
What if you wait for some time?
There is a known problem in SABnzbd where downloading is stuck for the period of the server-timeout (usually 120 sec).
(Will be solved in next release).
As for moving things around in the queue: never saw this problem.
But I'll have at look at it again.
Are you moving the newzbin-fetch? This is not useful, it has its own queue, despite the fact that it's shown in the download queue.
What you are moving is the place of the future download, not the newzbin fetch action itself.

when it first started doing it i waited about 15mins and i may have waited longer. but i can't remember. I'll try next time it happens

Did you add newzbin jobs while SABnzbd was already downloading?
If so, the newzbin fetching may be delayed until the queue is empty.
Downloading has priority over newzbin fetching.
Also, check the log for warnings (or look in the Connections page).
i just upgraded from sabnzbd 0.2.5, can you possibly add an option to fetch the nzb's first instead of waiting until the queues empty, i sometimes have a large queue and like to download the files that are the oldest first, i'll never know which ones are which if they don't fetch the nzb
i assume this thing is specific to plus since it never happened in 0.2.5
