sabnzbd.ini reset to default after windows update.
Everything worked fine right before I installed a windows update and restarted. After restart I was greeted with the setup page. I confirmed that %userprofile%\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini had been reset to default with out any action of my own that I know of. Could my old settings still be saved somewhere and is there any reason why this should happen?

The only thing I can think of is that you un-installed including data removal.

I've had this exact same thin happen to me twice now. SUPER frustrating. Is there really no answer? I guess I'll have to set up something to backup that file...

What can I say?
I follow all Windows updates and my settings always survive.
I also cannot think of something in Windows updates that would touch them.
General,y it's a good idea to shutdown SABnzbd properly before restarting the system.
But even that should not result in removing the ini file, queue corruption is more likely.
